James and Heather Kohler

Pastors

Rev. James Kohler has grown up in New Jersey and became a follower of Jesus Christ as a young child.  He rededicated his life at the age of 17 as he felt the call of God for him to minister the Gospel. In college, James was the president of Campus Christian Fellowship and he helped lead many worship events for college age students.  James has lead youth ministries, been on several worship bands and has preached and shared the Gospel in several different churches in the area as well as several countries around the world.  James has a degree in Theology from Beacon University as well as his Bachelors in marketing and finance from Montclair State University.  James is married to Heather and they have 6 great kids; Abigail, Nathan, Caleb, Matthew, Benjamin and Zoey.  

Rev. Heather Kohler grew up in New Jersey and became a believer while in college.  Growing up without knowing the Lord has given her a passion and desire to see others know the truth of the Gospel as it was what set her free!  Heather has led worship for many years as well as helped lead youth ministries and Bible studies.  Heather has been on several oversees mission trips that have impacted her greatly in how she sees the world and the need to spread the Gospel to as many people as possible.  Heather has a degree in Theology from Beacon University as well as her Bachelors in education from Montclair State University.  She homeschools her 6 children with husband James and also runs a homeschooling co-op.


Mark Johnson

Elder

Rev. Mark Johnson, Elder, has ministered before the Lord for the past 50 years, 30 of those years has been in churches.  Ministry experience includes Healing Rooms, Praise and Worship, Preaching, Teaching, and Deliverance.  He has also ministered the Word of God monthly for the past 20 years at the Good Shephard Mission in Patterson, New Jersey.  Called by God to assist in the work at Byram Bay, Mark's primary focus is seeing people saved, healed, free and whole in the name of Jesus, through the working of the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit.
